Center Transformations for Your Classroom Halloween Party

October 31, 2015

If you are looking for some Halloween party ideas, try transforming your choice time centers into spooky spaces with fun activities for your kindergarten kiddos to enjoy!

Here are some ideas to get you started.

Halloween in the Science Center

Deck out your science center with spiders and webs for children to explore and incorporate into their play.

Add some paper and your “mad scientists” will enjoy sketching webs and spiders.

Halloween in the Modeling Center

Whip up a batch of pumpkin pie playdough (or ask for a parent volunteer to make it) and add pumpkin decorating parts so children can create both silly and spooky faces.

Jackie!! How are you! Why didn't I think of those awesome halloween themed ideas. I LOVE them!! I will use next year. I love how the one boy was drawing the spider web and another the spider. Love the haunted houses too! Where did you get the supplies for the spooky faces?

Hey Sarah! Hope this finds you well! I got the spooky faces at Walmart many years ago – I just looked at Amazon to see if they might have any – they are called pumpkin push-ins and they have a few sets, but not any that have as many pieces as the set I got. Mr. Potato Head pieces might also work well!
