Inside: Use this list of class party ideas to find new traditions for every month of the school year.
Class Party Planning Panic
You are busy teaching reading and math and all the things and then all of a sudden you realize that Halloween is only a week away. Yikes! What the heck are you going to do for Halloween?
Along with being a teacher, you are sometimes a party planner! The pressure is real to come up with classroom holiday party ideas that are fun and memorable for students. Over the years, I’ve tried lots of different things, and written about most of them, so I thought I’d put together a quick list post that will help you easily find the classroom holiday party ideas that work best for you.
Whether you are a new teacher, looking to create long-lasting traditions or a veteran teacher that is in need of a change, you’ll find lots of ideas to share in the joy of the holidays with the littles. Some are all-out parties, others are holiday-themed experiences, and still more were designed as virtual events and field trips that can easily be done from a distance or in the classroom (I know because I’ve done them in-person as well!). Just look for the word “digital” at the beginning to quickly find this type of experience.

Creating Long-Lasting Traditions
Once you’ve found what you like to do for each holiday or event, be sure to document what you’ve done in pictures, so you will remember your classroom party ideas when the next year rolls around. It’s amazing how quickly we can forget and end up having to reinvent the wheel each year.
Wishing you joyful celebrations, no matter what season it might be!
